2006 Announcement Party

  

Announcement Party at ESPN Zone


The Atlanta Sports Hall Of Fame held it's Announcement Party for it's second class
on March 30, 2006 at the ESPN Zone in Buckhead.

Our second class : Negro League All-star and former Atlanta Black Cracker James "Red" Moore, Olympic Sprinter and Gold Medal Winner (in 1964 and 1968) Wyomia Tyus, 4 Time Boxing Heavyweight Champion Evander Holyfield, Baseball Hall of Famer and former Braves pitcher Phil Niekro, Georgia Tech basketball coach Bobby Cremins, and Award winner journalist Furman Bisher.

The Induction Ceremony was on June 9, 2006.
